Thousands of families have received
fresh food, toys and books.
2,000 volunteers give their time every year.
Since 1983, One Voice has expanded from helping 70 families to supporting thousands. Every year, the One Voice Holiday Food Program provides food baskets, toys and books to Head Start families in the Los Angeles area who meet federal and state poverty criteria.
Living in poverty is especially hard during the holidays when there are no resources to make the season special. The food, toys, books and celebration provided by the One Voice volunteers bring much needed hope to families living in poverty that lasts well beyond the season.
