Holiday Program 2023
We are so excited to once again gather all our friends together at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica
to make food baskets for families in need in our community.
Come join us to help sort, package and give out the food.
Below are specific dates and times of the packing and giveaway and the address of the Hangar.
Register below and bring a copy of your form with you to show at the door to get in.

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14th
7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
7:30 – 9:00 PM “Kid Safe”

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15th
7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
We will be boxing the food and loading it into trucks.
Come any time after 7:30 PM. We’ll work until about 10:00 PM. Dress warmly.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16th
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This is the day we deliver the boxes to our distribution centers. We need all the volunteers we can get. Teen and adult groups are perfect for this activity. Please meet at the hangar at 9:00 AM. If you can’t make it that early, come whenever you can. We can use your help all day.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17th
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
We will be sorting and packaging the food. This is the night that is most appropriate for children as well as adults. THE DOORS OPEN AT 7:30 PM - come any time after that. We expect to finish around 10:00 PM. Please register online in advance.
For safety reasons, groups of kids will only be admitted if there is at least 1 adult to supervise every 2 - 3 kids.
This is the day of the giveaway! The families will be coming to pick up the food from each designated Head Start Center. Space is limited on this day! Check the special SUNDAY SIGN-UP box in the registration form below to sign up.
